PatternLabs

Terms of Service

Updated: August 12, 2026

Agreement

These Terms govern access to patternlabs.org, the PatternLabs mobile apps for iOS and Android, guest mode, accounts, notifications, and related features (the “Service”). In these Terms, PatternLabs means the PatternLabs Service and the person who operates it (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@patternlabs.org.

By using the Service, creating an account, or continuing after notice of updated Terms, you confirm that you have read and accept them. If you disagree, stop using the Service.

What PatternLabs is

PatternLabs is a search engine for financial markets: you set technical conditions, patterns, and filters; the Service checks pairs and returns a shortlist of charts to review, and may send notifications when conditions match. Charts may use TradingView or similar third parties.

PatternLabs is not an exchange, broker, investment adviser, asset manager, bank, payment institution, or custodian of digital assets. We do not take your money or assets, do not connect to your exchange account to place trades, and do not execute orders. We do not ask for exchange API keys, do not access your funds, and do not place trades.

Capacity & lawful use

You confirm that under the laws of your country you have the capacity to accept these Terms and use the Service. If applicable law requires consent or involvement of a legal representative, you must obtain it before use.

The Service may be technically available in many countries; that does not mean every feature is permitted in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for checking the legality of access to analytical data, cryptoassets, and related tools in your country. We may limit a feature or access if required by law, a competent authority, or distribution-platform rules.

Guest mode

Some features work without registration in a limited guest mode. The app creates an install/client ID that may hold settings, limits, and other guest data. Guest mode does not guarantee durable storage or transfer across devices. Deleting the app, clearing data, changing device, or changing the technical id may lose guest settings. Guest limits and features may differ from signed-in use.

Account & security

An account may be required for expanded features. Sign-in may use email with a one-time code (OTP) and/or Google Sign-In. For OTP, use an address you lawfully control and do not share the code. For Google Sign-In, you must use a Google account you control; Google’s own terms also apply to that sign-in flow. You are responsible for protecting your email, Google account, and device, and for account activity until you notify us of possible unauthorized access at support@patternlabs.org. We may require re-auth, end a suspicious session, or temporarily limit access when reasonably needed for security.

Allowed use

We grant a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms, the app UI, and App Store / Google Play rules.

You must not: break the law or others’ rights; impersonate others or use another’s account/email without permission; share OTP codes, tokens, or access credentials; bypass limits, paywalls, or protections; use bots, scrapers, or automation without our written permission; overload or attack the API, probe vulnerabilities without permission, or introduce malware; copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service, scan results, or market data in breach of our rights or data-provider terms; reverse-engineer or extract source/algorithms except where law forbids that restriction; use the Service for market manipulation, fraud, or other illegal activity.

Market data & third parties

Market data comes from official or public APIs (including exchanges) and may be delayed, incomplete, different from the exchange UI, or temporarily unavailable. TradingView, Google (including Firebase and Google Sign-In), and other third parties keep their own IP and terms. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or policy changes. Opening an embedded page or link, or using a third-party sign-in, may send ordinary connection or account data to that party as described in the Privacy Policy.

Not a trading signal or advice

A scan result only means the algorithm found a match to your chosen conditions. It is not an instruction to buy, sell, or hold, and does not mean the situation suits you. Materials are not personal investment, financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. PatternLabs does not assess your finances, experience, goals, or risk tolerance. You decide on your own risk after checking primary data and, if needed, independent advice. Past patterns do not guarantee future results.

Notifications

You may watch a pair, timeframe, pattern, or other condition. A notification reports a match — not a trading signal. Push and email may be delayed, duplicated, missing, or already outdated (network, device, OS, FCM, servers, market-data providers). Do not rely on notifications as your only way to track urgent or financially significant situations. Changing OS push permission does not delete the account and does not always remove existing watch rules.

Free use and limits

The Service is currently provided free of charge. User or technical limits may apply to certain features and may change. Before any paid features or subscriptions are introduced, these Terms will be updated and the applicable prices and payment conditions will be shown to the user before purchase.

Availability & updates

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation. Features may pause for maintenance, fixes, security, API changes, or causes beyond our control. We may add, change, or discontinue features. Beta / preview / experimental features may be incomplete or unstable and should not be the sole basis for financial decisions.

Intellectual property & feedback

The app, site, design, code, algorithms, database structure, texts, graphics, and PatternLabs marks belong to the Service owner or are used under license. These Terms do not transfer ownership. Third-party marks and data remain theirs. Mention of an exchange or provider is not partnership or endorsement unless stated.

If you voluntarily send ideas or feedback, you allow PatternLabs to use them free of charge to improve the product, without obligation to implement or pay. That does not cover personal data (see the Privacy Policy) or materials you do not own.

Support

Support: support@patternlabs.org and Telegram. Telegram is a separate service under its own terms. Do not send secrets (passwords, OTP, seeds, keys) to support. no_reply@patternlabs.org is for automatic mail only.

Privacy

Personal data is handled under the PatternLabs Privacy Policy on patternlabs.org.

Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account in the app. Uninstalling the app is not always the same as deleting a registered account. We may limit or end access for material Terms breaches, security risk, limit circumvention, or when required by law or a platform. Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, liability, disputes, accrued obligations) continue after termination.

Disclaimer & liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that every pattern is found, that results have only one interpretation, that data is perfectly accurate or timely, or that the Service works on every device. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Trading and investing involve risk of partial or total loss. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PatternLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data, trading losses, or decisions made based on the Service’s content or features. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms when features, law, or infrastructure change. The current version is on this page with a new date. If you disagree with updated Terms, stop using the Service and delete your account before the changes take effect.

Governing law & disputes

Before court, parties will try in good faith to resolve disputes in writing via support@patternlabs.org with a reasonable time to reply. If that fails, disputes are heard by a competent court under applicable law. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined under the laws that apply to the relationship between the user and the Service provider. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Other

If one provision is invalid, the rest remain in force to the maximum extent allowed. Failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign to a project successor subject to your applicable rights. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement on that subject. App Store / Google Play rules also apply where they govern distribution of the apps.
